In our short history we have already performed many fun and exciting projects and participated in many events, both by ourselves and along with the Knights. Listed below are items we accomplished to date from our inception in 2006 to the current year. We look forward to another busy and eventful year!

  • Columbiettes Vision Meeting

  • Helped Michael Koshis and college students collect school supplies for Hurrican Katrina/Rita victims

  • Knights of Columbus sponsored church picnic - Bingo and cake walk

  • Family Feud game show night, silent auction
  • Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll drive
  • Knights of Columbus Beach Trip - American Idol, talent show, prizes, games
  • Made donation to fund for Mentor of Mentally Challenged Student at Parish

  • Lady of Fatima display event, dinner for visitors
  • First Official Columbiette Degree ceremony and luncheon
  • Donated funds for Special needs "Shadow" for kids
  • Established Religious Articles case in Church narthex

  • Donated funds for Fr. Coughlin's Life Alert sensor

  • Recognized Columbiette and Family for KofC Convention Family of the Year award
  • Assisted with the KofC Installtion Ceremony
  • Presented the Columbiette of the Year award

July '07

  • Donated money to WCKI, Catholic Radio in South Carolina
  • Completed and presented the Columbiette banner

August '07

  • Columbiette Representative attended Supreme Convention in NY to receive Service Hours award
  • Respect Life Rosary sales

September '07

  • Bingo, Cake Walk and Silent Auction at Church picnic
  • Assisted with entertainment and prizes for the Annual KofC Beach Trip

  • Participated in Major Degree Ceremonies with sister chapter at Prince of Peace Church

  • Changed meetings to Saturday night w/family friendly potluck (in response to Columbiette survey)

  • Assisted with Fr. Coughlin's (Our Chaplain) funeral reception

  • Meeting to decide on Charity Donations for the year
  • Nominating Committee meeting

We support the Council 8182 Knights with their ongoing efforts of:

  • Sunday Rosary @ 10:25am
  • Abortion Clinic prayer vigil the 1st Saturday of the month, 8-9am
  • Eucharistic Adoration the 1st Friday of the month
  • WCKI-AM, Catholic radio efforts
  • Support of the Poor Claire nuns
